Technical Lead - Enterprise AI Services

Overview :

We are seeking a highly driven and expert  Technical Lead with deep C# programming expertise  to join our growing  Enterprise AI Services team  within Platform Engineering. As a Technical Lead, Enterprise AI Services reporting to our Enterprise AI Services Senior Manager in this critical role, you will be instrumental in  leading the design, development, and maintenance of the cloud infrastructure and core services  that power our cutting-edge AI solutions for enterprise clients. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of enterprise AI, focusing on  Agentic AI architectures, LLM integration, and robust C#-driven platforms  at scale. You'll work with leading-edge technologies in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, enabling Thomson Reuters to deliver transformative AI capabilities.

About the Role :

• Leverage your expert-level C# programming skills to design, develop, and implement highly scalable, resilient, and secure enterprise AI services. This includes building foundational components for Agentic AI, LLM orchestration, and intelligent automation.
• Lead the technical integration and utilization of advanced cloud AI services like Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, and other emerging Agentic AI technologies to deliver cutting-edge solutions to Thomson Reuters product teams.
• Develop robust API layers using platforms like Azure API Management and Google Cloud APIGEE to expose AI capabilities securely and efficiently.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentorship to a team of Enterprise AI Services engineers, fostering best practices in software development, C# coding standards, and platform reliability.
• Drive agile development practices (Scrum / Kanban), ensuring clear visibility of work, efficient backlog management, and timely delivery of platform enhancements.
• Act as a technical subject matter expert, unblocking complex challenges and ensuring high-quality, production-ready code.
• Proactively research, evaluate, and prototype new AI, Generative AI, and Agentic AI architectures, assessing their maturity and strategic alignment with business and technology goals to inform the platform roadmap.
• Champion and embed security-by-design principles into all AI platform components and services. Collaborate closely with the Thomson Reuters information security team to implement robust enterprise-grade security features, addressing unique AI security concerns (e.g., prompt injection, data poisoning).
• Prepare and present high-quality technical and non-technical documentation, effectively communicating complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate technical and operational risks associated with deploying and scaling AI systems.
