Job description

Educational Qualification :

Bachelors degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or equivalent hands-on experience
2+ years of copywriting specifically for e-commerce emails (campaigns & flows)
Excellent command of grammar and persuasive writing techniques

Roles & Responsibilities :

Write clear, engaging copy for email campaigns and automated flows (welcome series, cart-abandon, post-purchase, re-engagement)

Craft scroll-stopping subject lines, preview text, headers, and CTAs that boost opens and clicks

Write engaging copy for ad creatives

Partner with designer to ensure copy and visuals work in harmony

Develop and execute A / B tests on copy elements to optimize open rate, click-through, and conversion

Maintain consistent brand voice and messaging across all client emails

Stay ahead of e-commerce trends, email best practices, and deliverability guidelines

Preferred Profile :

Exceptional storytelling skills and a knack for translating product benefits into customer-focused messages

Proven ability to adapt tone and voice across different brands and niches

Comfortable working in an ESP (Klaviyo, Omnisend, Mailchimp, etc.) and using templates to streamline your workflow

Basic familiarity with open-rate and click-through metrics to inform your copy decisions - no deep analytics required

Fast learner who welcomes feedback, iterates quickly, and thrives in a collaborative, deadline-driven agency setting

Excellent communication skills and a passion for staying on top of e-commerce and email marketing trends
