Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

As Senior Engineer - Mechanical Design you will be responsible for design & development of Gas turbine & Centrifugal compressor auxiliaries / skid packaging that includes,

• Understanding customer specifications, deriving requirements for the design of various Mechanical Auxiliaries.
• Sizing and selection of various auxiliary equipment such as pumps / motors / filters / heat exchangers / strainers / valves.
• Piping design as per ASME B31.3 (pipe sizing, pressure drop calculation, material selection, reviewing piping stress analysis, piping support selection and piping layout design)
• Structural verification using FEA tools such as Ansys.
• Foundation loads calculation and skid lifting design.
• Leading project meetings, and travelling for Kick off / 3D model review meetings with global customers
• Collaborating with external engineering suppliers in the creation & review of basic engineering drawings and 3D models, with knowledge on GD&T.
• Providing timely communications on significant issues or developments.
• Participating on teams assigned to address organizational initiatives and generic issues
• Participating as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews.
• Work with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
• Build upon knowledge of critical stakeholders and apply cross-functional learnings to develop competencies
• Assuring proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and / or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures
