Key Responsibilities :
- Set up and operate CMM equipment to measure, inspect, and verify complex machined components
- Develop and implement CMM programs using various software packages
- Interpret engineering drawings and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) standards
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of CMM equipment
- Create detailed reports of inspection results and communicate findings to the relevant teams
- Collaborate with production and quality control teams to identify and resolve quality issues
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize inspection processes and procedures
- Adhere to all safety and quality regulations and standards
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field1-2 years of experience in operating and programming CMM equipmentProficiency in CMM software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar)Solid understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T principles, and measurement techniquesStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesCommitment to quality, accuracy, and attention to detailKnowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality management systems (preferred)Skills Required
