Job description

Key Responsibilities :

Set up and operate CMM equipment to measure, inspect, and verify complex machined components
Develop and implement CMM programs using various software packages
Interpret engineering drawings and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) standards
Perform routine maintenance and calibration of CMM equipment
Create detailed reports of inspection results and communicate findings to the relevant teams
Collaborate with production and quality control teams to identify and resolve quality issues
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize inspection processes and procedures
Adhere to all safety and quality regulations and standards

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field

1-2 years of experience in operating and programming CMM equipment

Proficiency in CMM software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar)

Solid understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T principles, and measurement techniques

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Commitment to quality, accuracy, and attention to detail

Knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality management systems (preferred)
