About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in the FinTech domain , specifically in Loan Origination Systems (LOS) . The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in requirement gathering, workflow design, documenting functional specifications, and working closely with product, technology, and business teams to enhance LOS features and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for LOS modules.
- Translate business needs into detailed BRDs, FRDs, user stories , and process flows.
- Support the design and implementation of LOS workflows including onboarding, KYC, underwriting, risk assessment, disbursement, and repayment journeys.
- Conduct gap analysis between existing systems and business requirements.
- Coordinate with development and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
- Assist in UAT planning, test case review, execution, and issue resolution.
- Analyze borrower journeys, credit decisioning rules, and loan lifecycle processes.
- Recommend improvements for process optimization, automation, and product enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, data privacy standards, and lending guidelines (RBI-based).
- Work with data and analytics teams to generate insights for business and risk teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
3–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the FinTech / Lending domain .Strong knowledge of Loan Origination Systems (LOS) and digital lending workflows.Understanding of KYC processes, underwriting, credit scoring, risk models, and loan disbursement journeys.Experience in preparing BRDs, FRDs, workflow diagrams, and user stories.Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Figma, MS Visio , etc.Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams—Tech, Product, Business, Risk, Compliance.Strong analytical thinking, documentation skills, and communication skills.Good understanding of APIs, integrations, and basic functional understanding of backend systems.
