SAP Group Reporting Tester

Location :

Bangalore or Hyderabad (Hybrid).

Notice Period :

Immediate joiners are highly preferred.

We're looking for an experienced and detail-oriented

SAP Group Reporting Tester

to join our team in testing critical financial consolidation and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in

SAP Finance,

focusing on end-to-end validation of the close process, data integrity, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Close & Consolidation Testing :

Validate the complete end-to-end financial close process, encompassing both month-end and year-end activities.

Ensure all consolidated reporting strictly adheres to

IFRS

and

US GAAP

accounting standards.

Backend Data Validation :

Execute rigorous testing and verification of data accuracy and completeness in key financial tables, including

ACDOCA ,

ACDOCP , and

ACDOCC .

Utilize proficiency in

SQL queries

for in-depth backend table validation.

System Integration & Data Flow :

Confirm the seamless and accurate flow of data between

SAP BPC

and

SAP S / 4HANA Group Reporting .

Validate integration points with

SAP FICO

and other relevant SAP modules.

Reporting Verification :

Review and validate reports generated via

Analysis for Office (AO) , such as Trial Balance by Audit Trail and Cash Flow statements.

Verify the correctness of consolidation hierarchies and financial statement structures.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Experience : Minimum of

3+ years

of professional experience in SAP testing, specifically within the finance domain.

SAP Expertise :

Strong, hands-on knowledge of

SAP Group Reporting

and

Real-Time Consolidation (RTC) .

Technical Proficiency :

Direct experience with

SAP S / 4HANA Finance

and related sub-modules.

Proficiency in backend validation techniques and writing / executing

SQL queries .

Familiarity with standard

QA methodologies

and test automation frameworks.

Soft Skills :

Excellent analytical and sophisticated problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Experience (Nice to Have)

Testing Tenure :

3–7 years in SAP testing, including involvement in at least

1–2 end-to-end implementations

of SAP Group Reporting.

Functional Exposure :

Experience with

Fiori apps ,

AO Reporting , and complex integration scenarios.

Additional Finance Knowledge :

Experience in areas like tax validation, asset management, and general ledger (GL) postings is a significant advantage.
