Role Overview
This role is for a hands-on performance marketer who can independently own and scale paid media campaigns across the funnel. The Assistant Manager – Performance Marketing will be responsible for driving lead volume and efficiency through continuous optimisation, audience strategy, creative testing, and budget management.
The role sits at the core of the growth engine and requires strong execution capability combined with analytical thinking and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end paid media execution across platforms such as Google, Meta, and other performance channels
- Build and optimise full-funnel campaigns covering awareness, consideration, and conversion
- Drive audience strategy including keyword planning, interest-based targeting, lookalikes, and retargeting
- Work closely with creative, content, and category teams to build city- and persona-specific ad sets
- Continuously test and optimise creatives, ad copies, landing pages, and CTAs
- Track and improve core performance metrics including CPL, CPM, CTR, CVR, lead quality, orders, and ROI
- Manage budgets, pacing, and delivery across multiple objectives and platforms
- Ensure accurate tracking, pixel implementation, event setup, and attribution hygiene
- Collaborate with platform account managers to leverage new features, betas, and best practices
- Analyse performance data and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders
Job Requirements/Mandatory Skills
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in performance marketing within consumer-facing, lead-driven businesses
- Strong execution experience on Meta Ads and Google Ads (non-negotiable)
- Comfort working with large datasets, dashboards, and performance reports
- Clear understanding of attribution, tracking, and performance measurement
- Experience collaborating with creative teams rather than working in silos
- Bias for action, ownership mindset, and attention to detail
- Previous experience in managing media budgets over 50Lacs.
