✨ Now Hiring : Taxation Specialist! ✨

📢 A leading NBFC is seeking a skilled Manager / Sr. Manager – Direct & Indirect Taxation to be part of our Mumbai office!

📍 Location : Mumbai

🎓 Qualification : CA Qualified / CA Inter / MBA

💼 Experience : 3+ years

⭐ Industry : BFSI

Key Responsibilities :

Direct Taxation :

  • Manage Direct Tax compliance : ITR, TDS / TCS, Form SFT, and statutory filings.
  • Review agreements, provide tax advisory, and evaluate Income Tax Act & DTAA implications.
  • Handle tax audits and represent the company in assessments, appeals, and ITAT / HC coordination.
  • Manage international taxation : foreign remittances, Form 15CA, transfer pricing, and tax payments.
  • Maintain MIS, track regulatory updates, support tax provisioning, and improve processes via ERP / Tally.

Indirect Taxation :

  • Perform and manage audits related to GST, VAT, Service Tax, Excise, and Customs.
  • Review GST returns, invoices, and transactional data for statutory compliance.
  • Ensure accurate GST reconciliations (GSTR-2A vs Books, ITC, etc.).
  • Identify tax risks, exposures, and non-compliance issues.
  • Prepare audit reports and present findings to management.
  • Liaise with auditors and tax authorities during assessments and litigations.
  • Keep up to date with changes in GST and indirect tax laws, and advise teams accordingly.
  • Support software / ERP implementation and process improvements.
