Key Responsibilities
Cisco Network Infrastructure
Configure, deploy, and maintain Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
Implement and manage routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and LAN / WAN connectivity.
Monitor network performance, conduct capacity planning, and apply firmware / IOS upgrades.
Troubleshoot complex Layer 2 / Layer 3 issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
Aruba Wireless Solutions
Deploy, configure, and manage Aruba wireless controllers and access points.
Implement enterprise-grade Wi-Fi solutions, including SSIDs, security policies, and roaming optimization.
Perform wireless site surveys, coverage analysis, and performance tuning.
Integrate Aruba solutions with ClearPass for NAC (Network Access Control) and policy enforcement.
Load Balancer Administration
Manage and configure application load balancers (F5, Citrix NetScaler, or equivalent).
Optimize application delivery, session persistence, SSL offloading, and traffic distribution.
Monitor load balancer performance, redundancy, and failover configurations.
Collaborate with application teams to ensure efficient and secure traffic flow.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
12-15 years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking.
Strong knowledge of Cisco IOS / NX-OS platforms and troubleshooting methodologies.
Proven experience with Aruba wireless deployments and ClearPass integrations.
Hands-on expertise in application load balancer administration (F5, Citrix, A10, or equivalent).
Hands on experience to work in an ITIL structured organisation dealing with Incident / Change / Problem management
Basic knowledge of the tools like Wire-shark, Kentik, Prometheus or similar monitoring tools.
Knowledge on Linux OS will be an added advantage.
Experience with Python automation is a plus.
Monitor daily system health checks, incidents, and changes to ensure SLA compliance.
Maintain documentation of systems, configurations, patch cycles, and recovery plans.
Collaborate with security, network, and application teams to align operations.
Familiarity with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Splunk).
Industry certifications preferred :
Cisco CCNA / CCNP / CCIE
Aruba ACMP / ACMX
F5-CA or equivalent
Leadership & Management
Lead a team of infrastructure engineers across shifts and locations.
Oversee resource allocation, scheduling, and task prioritization to meet service-level commitments.
Handle leave planning, team availability, and coverage to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Conduct regular performance reviews, mentor team members, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
