Job Title : Supervisor Trainee – CRGO Manufacturing

Department : Production / Quality / Operations

Industry : CRGO Electrical Steel / Transformer Material Manufacturing

Location : vadodara

Reporting To : Production manager

Experience Required : Freshers (0–1 year) - Btech Mech / BE MECHanical

Shift : Rotational

Job Purpose

To support the production and quality teams in day-to-day plant operations in the manufacturing of CRGO electrical steel , while learning about the processes of cutting, slitting, annealing, coating, testing, and handling of grain-oriented steel used in transformers.

Key Responsibilities

Training & Process Assistance

Undergo training on CRGO manufacturing processes including :
Coil handling and storage
Slitting and cutting of CRGO sheets
Stress-relief annealing
Coating applications (insulation)
Testing and quality checks
Assist shift in-charges in supervising floor operations and manpower.

Production Monitoring

Monitor machines and equipment to ensure smooth operations under the guidance of senior supervisors.

Record daily production data, material usage, and downtime.

Quality Awareness

Learn basic quality parameters of CRGO materials such as core loss, surface finish, thickness, and insulation resistance.

Assist in basic quality inspections and lab testing tasks.

Safety & Compliance

Follow plant safety guidelines and ensure safe work practices on the shop floor.

Report any unsafe activity or malfunction to seniors immediately.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain daily production reports, checklists, and quality logs.
