The Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Engineering Lead / Manager to own the end-to-end freelancer journey . You’ll architect backend-heavy services, integrate AI-driven workflows, and mentor engineers — while bringing UI / UX understanding to product and stakeholder conversations. From onboarding → assessments → notifications → project deployment → payments , you’ll shape how freelancers experience our platform.

Responsibilities

• Freelancer Journey : Own services for onboarding, assessments, notifications, courses, playgrounds, deployments, and payments.
• AI / ML Features : Build semantic search for talent discovery.
• Develop AI-driven interviews and assessments .
• Integrate fraud detection (ML pipelines, browser extensions).
• Deploy AI agents and workflow automation.
• Backend & Scale : Architect backend services in Java / Golang / Python with caching, queues, and APIs .
• Databases : Design and optimize Postgres / MySQL (relational) and MongoDB / DynamoDB (NoSQL) ;

use VectorDBs for semantic search.
