This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Salary range : Rs 100000 - Rs 400000 (ie INR 1-4 LPA)

Min Experience : 4 years

Location : Chennai

JobType : full-time

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in residential building construction and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality projects within time and budget. Integrity and honesty are essential qualities for this role.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities :

  • Site Supervision : Independently manage 4–5 projects, conduct regular site meetings with Site Engineers, and perform inspections to track progress, quality, and safety compliance.
  • Collaboration : Coordinate with the Management Team, Project Manager, Planning Engineer, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements and specifications are met.
  • Technical Support : Adhere to defined processes and methodologies, support construction teams, and resolve site-related issues promptly.
  • Documentation : Oversee Site Engineers to ensure accurate project records, including daily progress reports, material usage, and labor attendance.
  • Quality Control : Ensure Site Engineers maintain quality control measures so that all work aligns with industry standards and client expectations.
  • Safety Management : Monitor Site Engineers to enforce safety regulations, ensure PPE availability on-site, and organize safety training sessions.

Qualifications :

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (D.C.E / B.E) in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of proven experience in residential building construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and relevant regulations.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects effectively.
