The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing SAS Intelligence Decision and SAS Viya platforms, with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure, automation, and container orchestration. This role requires a proactive professional capable of supporting scalable, reliable, and secure analytics environments on cloud platforms, primarily AWS.Key Responsibilities : - Provide advanced technical support for SAS Intelligence Decision and SAS Viya applications, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security.- Deploy, configure, and maintain SAS environments on AWS cloud infrastructure, leveraging best practices for cloud-based analytics solutions.- Manage container orchestration using Kubernetes to facilitate scalable and reliable SAS deployments.- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot operational issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure high availability and performance.- Collaborate with development and operations teams to support CI / CD pipelines, enhancing deployment efficiency and consistency.- Automate deployment, scaling, and management tasks utilizing AWS services such as EC2, EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service), S3, CloudWatch, and others.- Maintain comprehensive documentation of support procedures, system configurations, and troubleshooting steps.- Stay current with new SAS software features, cloud technologies, security best practices, and industry trends to continuously improve environment robustness.- Assist in capacity planning, disaster recovery strategies, and ensuring compliance with security standards within the SAS environments.Qualifications & Experience : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.- Proven experience in deploying and managing SAS Viya and SAS Intelligence Decision environments.- Strong working knowledge of AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, EKS, CloudWatch, IAM, etc.).- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes container orchestration.- Experience with CI / CD implementation and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).- Solid understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance standards.- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.- Strong communication skills and the ability to document technical processes clearly.Preferred Skills : - Certification(s) in AWS, Kubernetes, or SAS solutions.- Experience with other cloud providers (Azure, GCP) is a plus.
