Senior Engineering Manager

We are looking for a

Senior Engineering Manager

who thrives in high-performance environments and is passionate about building scalable, high-quality products. You will lead a

cross-functional team of talented engineers , shaping our technology, architecture, and delivery processes.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong engineering background and hands-on product development experience, who has transitioned into a managerial role or is a Tech Lead looking to grow into Engineering Leadership.

What you’ll be responsible for

Leading and mentoring a team of up to 15 engineers to deliver high-impact features and products.

Driving the design, development, and delivery of scalable back-end and front-end systems.

Owning end-to-end delivery, ensuring quality, timelines, and performance benchmarks are met.

Working closely with Product Managers, Architects, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Guiding the team on technical challenges, design reviews, code quality, and architecture discussions.

Contributing to hands-on coding in critical modules and design prototyping as needed.

Promoting engineering best practices including CI / CD, testing, monitoring, and reliability.

Driving a culture of continuous improvement and high ownership within the team.

Attracting, retaining, and developing top-tier engineering talent.

What you’d have

10–15 years in software development with a strong product focus.

Degree from a Tier-1 college (IIT, NIT, BITS, etc.) in Computer Science or related field.

Experience leading or mentoring small to mid-sized engineering teams.

Strong coding and architectural skills in backend technologies : Go, Java, Python, Node.js.

Experience with frontend frameworks like React, Vue.js, or similar.

Solid understanding of microservices, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and scalable systems.

Proven track record of delivering complex, high-performance systems.

Excellent problem-solving and system design capabilities.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good to have

Experience in fast-paced start-ups or product-based companies.

Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), messaging systems, API-first development.

Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
