Role : Technical Architect

Work Mode : REMOTE, part time

Shift : US Shift

Seeking an experienced Technical Architect with deep hands-on expertise in NCR POS software and large-scale integrations with enterprise systems and working with US based retail sector.

Required Experience

10+ years in enterprise architecture / solutions architecture with proven NCR POS implementation experience at scale (multi-site / omnichannel).

Core Responsibilities

Rapid discovery of current POS and upstream / downstream systems; identify integration gaps and risks.

Define target architecture, data flows, and API / middleware patterns for high-scale, multi-store deployments.

Advise on integration with payments (gateways, tokenization), finance / ERP , loyalty / CRM , inventory , and reporting / analytics .

Establish non-functional baselines : performance, reliability, observability, security, compliance (e.g., PCI DSS), and disaster recovery.

Provide implementation oversight and knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Objective : Assess, design, and guide integration of NCR POS with internal systems (payments, finance / ERP, loyalty / CRM, inventory, data platforms) and establish a scalable reference architecture.

Engagement : Independent consultant on an hourly basis to start; open to expanding into a broader advisory or implementation model based on fit.
