Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.

• Skills/experience:
• Recent and relevant experience required in one or more of the following areas:
• 9+ years of experiences in image processing/computer vision/video domain.
• Good understanding of image processing and computer vision fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience in developing middle layer sw for Android/Linux.
• Hands on experience developing and porting imaging algorithms algorithms to DSP/ARM-Neon
• Hands on knowledgeexperience on camera/computer vision pipeline, development, porting, and optimization.
• Hands-on experience implementing machine learning algorithms on embedded platforms(C/C++).
• Hands-on experience with machine learning framework/packages (e.g, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch etc.)
• Solid CC++assembly programming skills, multithreading, and OS conceptsfundamentals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and debug CVmultimedia features for mobiles.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

The Successful Candidate(s) Will Be Responsible For

• Prototyping and deploying state of the art computer vision algorithms on Qualcomm heterogenous compute platforms.
• Development and productize various CV solutions on Qualcomm processors for mobile and XR projects
• Enhance CV, imaging solutions and help with imaging hardware subsystem enhancements in future Qualcomm Mobile Processors
• Design of CV, imaging features and work with a wide set of teams across the company (systems, software, hardware, etc.) in the productization
• Customer interaction to commercialize Qualcomm CV solutions.
  
• Education requirements:
• Required: Master's Computer Engineering and/or Electrical / Electronic Engineering
• Preferred: PhD in Computer Engineering and/or Electrical / Electronic Engineering (focus on Image processing, Computer vision, Machine learning)
