Job Summary :
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Firmware Engineer with 69 years of experience to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be a C++ expert with a passion for designing and delivering high-performance embedded solutions at the hardware-software crossroads. This is a key role where you will spearhead architecture, system optimization, and the complete firmware lifecycle for our state-of-the-art platforms.
Key Responsibilities :
- Firmware Architecture & Design : Design and develop cutting-edge real-time embedded firmware solutions. You will be responsible for leading the architecture of embedded systems, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and optimized for performance.
- C++ Development : Develop and enhance firmware components, drivers, and Board Support Packages (BSPs) using modern C++ (C++11 / 14 / 17). This includes hands-on coding and implementation of complex features.
- Low-Level Development : Lead platform initialization, manage the hardware-software interface, and develop secure and efficient bootloaders. You'll work directly with hardware using tools like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG debuggers to troubleshoot and validate designs.
- System Optimization : Utilize your deep expertise in RTOS, memory management, and multi-threading to identify and correct bottlenecks and ensure optimal system performance.
- Collaboration & Guidance : Work collaboratively with diverse teams to define, design, and ship new features. You will also provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, raising the bar for the entire team.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
69 years of professional experience in embedded systems with a strong focus on modern C++.Proficiency in RTOS, memory management, multi-threading, and debugging.Hands-on experience with embedded communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, and USB.Strong command over Linux / RTOS, with a solid understanding of BSPs and Hardware Abstraction Layers (HALs).The ability to utilize hardware debugging tools like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG debuggers.A strong preference for candidates who can join immediately or within 30 days.Preferred Skills :
