Role Overview :
The Branch Manager will lead the branch operations and sales team to drive business growth for Loan Against Property (LAP) , Personal Loan (PL) , and Business Loan (BL) . The role requires strong leadership, credit understanding, and proven experience in open market sourcing and team management.
Key Responsibilities :
- Drive branch business targets across LAP, PL, and BL products through open market channels and cross-selling initiatives.
- Develop and implement strategies for customer acquisition and portfolio growth.
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of sales and operations staff.
- Ensure strong market presence through DSA, connector, and direct sourcing channels.
- Maintain portfolio quality by ensuring proper credit assessment and timely collections.
- Ensure operational efficiency, compliance, and adherence to audit norms.
- Build and sustain relationships with key customers, partners, and local market influencers.
- Regularly monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Required Skills & Competencies :
In-depth knowledge of LAP, PL, and BL products and credit processes.Must have strong experience in open market sourcing and business development.Proven leadership and team-handling skills (minimum 2 years of experience in managing teams).Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.Analytical mindset with understanding of credit and risk parameters.Proficiency in MS Office and CRM applications.Skills Required
