Job descriptionIdentify hardware / software issues during FAT and work closely with local factory Maintain documentation of build, installation, and test reports Serve as the engineering liaison between Botsync and partners for During periods without FAT responsibilities : Contribute to R&D or development projects (hardware bring-up, Support engineering change requests and continuous improvement Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical / Electronics, or Computer Engineering 2–5 years of experience in AMR, mobile robotics, or industrial automation Strong understanding of robot hardware (motor controllers, encoders, sensors) Experience with robot system integration and hands-on debugging Familiarity with networking protocols, CAN, Modbus, etc., is a plus Prior FAT or on-site deployment experience is highly desirable Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) to work effectively with local team Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Willingness to travel frequently to Shenzhen (up to 60% of time) Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a startup-like, fast-paced Be part of a deep-tech robotics company transforming intralogistics automation Work on cutting-edge AMR platforms with real-world deployments Cross-border experience with international teams and partners Opportunity to grow into a broader engineering leadership or deployment
About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on QC(Quality Control) Engineer with a strong
background in robotics or AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robots) systems to join our fast-
growing team. Based out of Hong Kong, you will work closely with our hardware
partner in Shenzhen, to perform autonomy software installation, testing, and validation
on AMRs assembled at the factory.
This is a highly cross-functional role requiring both hardware and software expertise,
with strong cultural and communication alignment with local teams in China.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel regularly to Shenzhen to perform :
- Autonomy stack installation on AMRs
- Integration of key sensors and components (LiDAR, safety PLCs, motor drivers, etc.)
- Network and communication setup (ROS-based or similar)
- Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) to validate performance before shipment
- Liaise with Botsync’s internal engineering and deployment teams to ensure
technical alignment and quality standards
