Who You Are

You're a seasoned Full Stack Engineer with 5+ years of experience who thrives on building

products from zero to one. You're a technical leader who can own an entire product vertical,

make architectural decisions, and mentor junior engineers. You understand that in an

early-stage startup, you need to balance technical excellence with pragmatic choices that get

products to market quickly. You're excited about taking full ownership of a product line while

building and guiding a small engineering team.

Responsibilities

  • Take complete ownership of one core product vertical - from architecture to delivery to

ongoing maintenance

  • Lead, mentor, and manage 2-3 junior engineers while maintaining hands-on involvement

    • in critical features

  • Design and build scalable full-stack solutions using React / TypeScript frontend and

    • Python (FastAPI / Django) backend

  • Integrate with third-party AI services including LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) and

    • voice technologies (STT / TTS)

  • Make architectural decisions for cloud infrastructure (AWS / Azure), database design, and

    • system scalability

  • Establish engineering best practices including CI / CD pipelines, code reviews, and testing

  • Partner directly with founders and product teams to translate business requirements into

    • technical solutions

  • Build robust APIs and real-time features using WebSockets and Server-Sent Events

    • Qualifications

    Required

  • 5+ years building and shipping production software, with proven ability to scale products

    • from 0→1 and 1→10

  • Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, and Python backend frameworks (FastAPI

    • preferred)

  • Experience architecting and delivering multi-tenant SaaS applications serving thousands

    • of users

  • Proficiency with PostgreSQL and MongoDB for complex data modeling
  • Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms, including deployment and

    • security best practices

  • Proven track record of leading and mentoring junior engineers in a hands-on capacity
  • Ability to make pragmatic technical decisions balancing quality with speed of execution

  • Experience integrating with AI / ML APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Cloud AI, etc.)
  • Understanding of LLM-powered applications and prompt engineering
  • Knowledge of voice technologies (Speech-to-Text / Text-to-Speech) and real-time audio

  • React Native or cross-platform mobile development experience
  • Experience with search and retrieval systems in the context of AI agents
  • Healthcare domain knowledge or experience with compliance requirements (GDPR,
