We are seeking an experienced SEO & Backlink Expert to drive off-page SEO growth through strategic link acquisition while supporting overall SEO performance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building quality backlinks, analyzing SEO metrics, and collaborating with content and on-page teams to enhance domain authority, organic traffic, and search visibility.

Key Responsibilities :
Link Building (Primary Focus)
- Develop and implement monthly link-building strategies aligned with client goals.
- Identify, evaluate, and acquire high-quality backlinks via outreach, partnerships, and digital PR.
- Ensure link quality and relevance by reviewing types, diversity, and context.
- Audit backlinks regularly to fix broken links and disavow low-quality or spammy links.
- Track and report monthly link acquisition performance against targets and budgets.
SEO Strategy & Execution
Collaborate with on-page and content teams to align off-page initiatives with overall SEO strategies.Conduct keyword and competitor research to identify link-building and content opportunities.Optimize anchor text strategy and landing pages for maximum SEO impact.Monitor performance using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics, and Search Console.Reporting & Analysis
Prepare reports tracking month-over-month traffic and domain authority growth.Measure the impact of link-building campaigns on rankings and traffic.Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve SEO outcomes.30–60–90 Day Plan
First 30 Days – Learning & Alignment :
Understand the client portfolio, SEO tools, and reporting workflows.Audit existing backlink profiles.Learn link acquisition quality standards and processes.Set initial link-building targets with management.Next 60 Days – Execution & Optimization :
Execute monthly link-building strategies for assigned clients.Begin outreach and acquisition of high-quality backlinks within budgets.Identify new link opportunities (guest posting, collaborations, digital PR).Coordinate with content and SEO teams to ensure alignment.Report weekly on progress and performance metrics.Next 90 Days – Ownership & Growth :
Take full ownership of link-building deliverables and client reporting.Drive measurable improvements in domain authority and organic traffic.Conduct competitor backlink gap analysis and recommend advanced strategies.Suggest process improvements for scalability and efficiency.Mentor junior team members where applicable.Qualifications :
2–3 years of experience in SEO, with at least 2 years focused on link building.Strong knowledge of backlink quality, authority metrics, and outreach best practices.Hands-on experience with tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and Google Search Console.Good understanding of on-page and technical SEO fundamentals.Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Experience with D2C or e-commerce brands is a plus.
