Job Description : DevOps Trainer (Part-Time / Weekends)

Location :  Just a 2-minute walk from Thane West Railway Station, Platform No. 1

Position Type :  Part-Time (Weekends - Saturday & Sunday)

Experience Required :  5-6 Years

Remuneration (Salary) : As per Industrial Standards.

  • Note :  Only Candidates from  Mumbai , Navi Mumbai, Thane Region, Kalyan-Dombivali Locations will be considered for Interview call.

Are you a passionate DevOps professional with a knack for teaching? Do you enjoy shaping the next generation of IT experts? We are a premier training institute in Thane looking for an experienced DevOps Trainer to lead our weekend batches.

This is a perfect role for a working professional who wants to share their practical knowledge in a flexible, part-time capacity. If you are confident in your ability to demystify complex DevOps concepts and tools through a hands-on, practical approach, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver high-impact, interactive training sessions on DevOps concepts, both theoretical and practical, to a diverse batch of learners.
  • Design and develop a curriculum that is aligned with current industry trends and updated technologies.
  • Conduct hands-on labs and practical sessions on core DevOps tools and practices.
  • Guide students through real-world scenarios, project work, and case studies to ensure they are job-ready.
  • Create a stimulating and positive learning environment that encourages student participation and doubt-solving.
  • Develop and update training materials, including presentations, lab guides, and assignments.
  • Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, and practical tests.

    • Must-Have Skills & Qualifications :

  • 5-6 years of hands-on experience  in a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
  • Proven experience as a Trainer or Mentor, with the confidence to conduct sessions for a classroom.
  • Expert-level practical knowledge  of the following core DevOps tools and concepts :

    • o    CI / CD :  Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.

    o    Version Control :  Git (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).

    o    Configuration Management :  Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.

    o    Containerization :   Docker  is a must.

    o    Orchestration :   Kubernetes  is a must.

    o    Infrastructure as Code (IaC) :  Terraform or CloudFormation.

    o    Cloud Platforms :  AWS, Azure, or GCP (at least one).

    o    Scripting :  Shell Scripting (Bash) and one of Python or Groovy.

    o    Monitoring :  Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.

    Ideal Candidate Profile :

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Hindi.
  • Strong ability to explain complex technical concepts in a simple, understandable manner.
  • A student-centric approach with immense patience and a passion for mentoring.
  • Stays updated with the latest trends and updates in the DevOps ecosystem.
  • Self-motivated, punctual, and reliable.
