Job description

We are hiring for QA Lead – Travel Domain (Airline Systems)

About the Role :

We are hiring experienced QA Leads with a strong background in the travel and airline domain , specifically in GDS systems and functional areas such as Reservation, Inventory, Ticketing, and Check-In . The ideal candidates will lead and manage end-to-end testing activities across multiple levels of testing and contribute to automation strategy using tools like Cucumber BDD and TestNG .

Experience : 3.5+ Years - 12 Years

Location : Bengaluru / Greater Noida

Notice Period : Immediate / Serving Notice Period

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage test planning, strategy, and execution across all phases of testing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, product, and business stakeholders to ensure quality across airline systems.
  • Oversee and guide the QA team in validating complex workflows
  • Ensure traceability of requirements through test cases and maintain high test coverage.
  • Drive automation initiatives using Java-based frameworks , Cucumber BDD , and TestNG .
  • Review and enhance automation scripts and frameworks for scalability and maintainability.
  • Monitor test execution, defect tracking, and reporting using industry-standard tools.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Strong domain expertise in travel and airline systems , including GDS platforms and modules like Reservation, Inventory, Ticketing, and Check-In .
  • Hands-on experience with Java-based automation frameworks .
  • Proficiency in Cucumber BDD , TestNG , and related testing tools.
  • Solid understanding of testing methodologies , test lifecycle , and QA best practices .
  • Experience in managing end-to-end testing cycles and coordinating with multiple teams.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
