GCP GKE Managed Services & On-Prem Kubernetes Engineer

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters on GCP GKE (managed services).
• Perform manual Kubernetes installation and configuration on on-premises infrastructure (bare-metal or VM-based).
• Implement and manage hybrid cloud connectivity between on-prem clusters and GCP.
• Configure and maintain Kubernetes networking, storage, and security policies.
• Manage CI / CD pipelines and integrate container workloads with DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins,GitLab, ArgoCD).
• Monitor cluster health,performance, and capacity using observability tools (e.g., Prometheus,Grafana, Stackdriver).
• Ensure high availability,disaster recovery, and backup strategies for Kubernetes workloads.
• Troubleshoot cluster-level and workload-level issues (pods, nodes, networking, storage).
• Apply best practices for cost optimization, security hardening, and compliance in GCP and on-prem environments.
• Work with development teams to containerize applications and ensure smooth deployments.
