Times Network is hiring a Kannada News Writer for its Digit team who is passionate about technology and digital trends. The ideal candidate should be able to identify breaking stories, simplify complex tech topics, write engaging news articles in Kannada and help grow Digit’s regional presence.

Key responsibilities :

Write accurate, timely and engaging daily tech news articles in Kannada.

Track breaking stories, product launches, policy updates and industry developments.

Translate and adapt content from English to Kannada while retaining meaning and context.

Collaborate with editors to maintain Digit’s editorial standards and tone.

Optimise articles for SEO and social platforms.

Contribute ideas for story angles, explainers and trend-based content.\

Requirements

Strong command of written Kannada with excellent grammar and clarity.

1–4 years of experience in journalism / digital writing / regional news writing.

Passion for technology, gadgets and digital trends.

Ability to work in a fast-paced news environment with quick turnaround times.

Basic understanding of SEO and digital content trends.
