Define and present modernization strategies for legacy .NET applications, including re-platforming, re-architecting, and cloud-native transformation. Prepare Statements of Work (SOW), effort estimations, and pricing models. Collaborate with sales, delivery, and client stakeholders to ensure alignment of solutions with business goals. Provide architectural oversight and governance throughout the delivery lifecycle. Lead and mentor development teams, ensuring adherence to modernization best practices. Contribute to enterprise architecture planning and standards development. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in application modernization and cloud computing. Deep expertise in .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET, C#, and related Microsoft technologies. Strong understanding of cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS / GCP a plus). Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture. Proficiency in DevOps practices and CI / CD pipelines. Excellent communication and presentation skills for client-facing engagements. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 10+ years of experience in software development and architecture, with at least 5 years focused on .NET technologies. Proven track record in application modernization projects, including legacy system assessments and transformation roadmaps. Experience in pre-sales solutioning, proposal writing, and client presentations. Hands-on experience with cloud migration strategies and tools. Experience leading development teams and managing technical delivery. Preferably has contributed to or led enterprise architecture initiatives. Domain experience in banking, financial services, or healthcare is highly preferred. Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and design patterns. Experience working in Agile and hybrid delivery models. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, .NET Developer) preferred. Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, or GCP) are a strong plus. PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
