Job description

Business Development Strategist Identify and qualify potential enterprise and mid-market leads through research, outbound outreach, and inbound inquiries.

  • Develop a deep understanding of client business models, challenges, and goals to position tailored solutions effectively.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to design and deliver impactful client presentations, product demos, and solution proposals.
  • Conduct account mapping to identify key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers within target organizations.
  • Engage in value-based selling, articulating the ROI and business impact of solutions such as OnGrid, Gridlines, and eLockr.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities using CRM tools; track progress and ensure data accuracy.
  • Partner with marketing to refine messaging, outreach strategies, and lead nurturing campaigns.
  • Gather and communicate market insights, competitor intelligence, and emerging trends to refine sales approaches.
  • Ensure smooth handover of qualified leads to the closing team with complete opportunity documentation and context.
  • Measure and report on lead conversion metrics and presales performance, focusing on quality over volume.

Key Skills & Competencies :

  • Proven experience in B2B presales, business development, or enterprise sales (preferably in SaaS, tech, or HR tech domains).
  • Strong understanding of outbound sales processes, lead qualification, and account management.
  • Ability to conduct in-depth business research and extract actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with focus on value articulation and consultative selling.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (preferably Salesforce) and data-driven decision-making.
  • Organized, proactive, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
