The Opportunity

We’re hiring a  Head of Human Resources  to  architect and lead the HR function  across our dynamic organization. This is a high-impact role for someone with an  engineering background  and deep  HR leadership experience , especially in  construction, real estate, or land development .

You’ll work closely with senior leadership to build a scalable HR foundation, support project execution teams, and help shape a people-first culture.

What You’ll Do

• ️ Design and implement company-wide HR strategy aligned with business growth
• ️ Lead HR operations : hiring, onboarding, employee engagement, compliance, and development
• ️ Collaborate with project leads to manage workforce planning and staffing needs
• ️ Support engineers, site teams, and project managers with effective HR systems
• ️ Ensure legal and regulatory compliance, including labor laws and site safety standards
• ️ Guide leadership in building structure, processes, and performance culture
• ️ Track HR metrics to improve retention, hiring quality, and employee satisfaction
• ️ Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion across all departments and job sites

What We’re Looking For

🎓 Bachelor’s degree in  Engineering , HR, Business, or related field ( Engineering background preferred )

🧠  5–6+ years of progressive HR experience , including  2+ years in a leadership role

🏗️ Prior experience in  construction, civil engineering, or land development  is a strong plus

💬 Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

💻 Comfortable with HRIS systems, ATS platforms, and Microsoft Office

📜 SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certifications are an advantage
