Role Overview

Gyan Nidhi seeks experienced industry professionals and academics from diverse fields to serve on its Board of Advisors. Members will provide strategic insights, sectoral expertise, and guidance to support the organisation’s mission, programmes, and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Guidance :

Offer high-level advice on organisational strategy, programme development, partnerships, and sustainability.

Sectoral Expertise :

Bring industry / academic knowledge to shape relevant initiatives, curriculum design, research focus areas, and community engagement.

Governance Support :

Provide perspective on policies, best practices, and ethical frameworks to ensure responsible and transparent operations.

Networking & Advocacy :

Facilitate connections with key stakeholders—industry leaders, academic institutions, policymakers, and potential partners.

Review & Feedback :

Assess progress reports, project proposals, and impact assessments; offer constructive recommendations.

Meeting Participation :

Attend quarterly virtual Board meetings and contribute actively to discussions and decisions.

Desired Profile

Senior professionals, leaders, or academics with minimum 10–15 years of expertise in relevant domains such as education, technology, industry sectors, policy, social impact, research, or capacity-building.

Demonstrated experience in advisory roles, leadership, or governance bodies is preferred.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to provide strategic input.

Passion for education, knowledge development, and societal impact.

Ability to commit time for meetings and occasional consultations.

Term

Typically 1–2 years , renewable based on mutual agreement and contributions.
