Build And Release Engineer

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Release Engineer to help us manage code branching, merging, and production deployments. This role is central to keeping our software delivery pipeline stable, reliable and efficient. You will work closely with development, QA and DevOps teams to make sure releases happen smoothly and on time.

What you will do

Design and manage Git branching and merging strategies
Coordinate deployments across staging, QA and production
Automate release and deployment processes
Document release schedules, notes and rollback plans
Monitor deployments and resolve issues quickly with the team

What we are looking for

5+ years of experience in release engineering, DevOps or a related role

Strong hands-on experience with Git and CI / CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Azure DevOps)

Good understanding of deployment pipelines and production systems

Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an advantage

Strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills
