Job Summary :

As a leader of the Growth function for Large Enterprise (LE), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the adoption of exceptional proprietary checkout solutions for our merchants through strategic 1 : 1 engagement. Our Checkout Product Suite include PayPal Checkout, Pay with Venmo, Fastlane and all associated features. Key aspects of this role include :

Client Aptitude : You will have the opportunity to directly engage withlargeenterprise clients on an ongoing basis. Yourexpertisewill supportthesales teams andprovidevaluable advice to successfully close deals.

Connector : Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as Product and Engineering, Finance, Support, Global Sales, Professional Services,Marketing, Go-to-Marketand Account Management, you willleverageinternal resources and external partnerships to drive business outcomes.

Reach : This is awide-rangingrole that involves interacting with various teams across the globe within PayPal, as well as engaging with our clients and partnerson complex needs. You will have the opportunity to foster strong relationships and contribute to the success of our organization on alargescale.

Distilling Complexity : As a key contributor, you will play a pivotal role in training and educating the organization on areas such asbrandedcheckout and the broader commerce ecosystem. Your ability to distill complex concepts into clear and actionable insights will be instrumental in empowering teams across the organization.

Evangelizing : In this role, you will serve as a thought leader for enterprise merchants. This includes engaging in merchant communication,participatingin conferences, collaborating with partners, and hosting webinars. Yourexpertiseand insights will contribute to industry-wide knowledge and best practices.

Key Responsibilities & Accountability :

As part of this role, you will be entrusted with the following responsibilities and accountabilities :

DeepClientFocus : Defineplaybook and advocate for demand with product onclient needs. Align onkey deals that are priorities forcriticalverticals. Bring strategic initiatives that are relevant to the Sales Team. Execute on support related to client engagement / outreach for thekey client cohorts.

Drive Dealsthat Accelerate Branded Checkout Volume : Take ownership of ensuring successful sales and account expansion forbranded checkoutdeals on alargescale.Yourexpertiseand strategic approach will contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

RelevantExpertise for Strategic Initiatives : Serve as abrandedpayments expert for new strategic initiatives, including areas such asUX optimization,presentment, conversion rate, and innovative ecommerce solutions. Your insights and guidance will shape the direction and success of these initiatives.

Influence Product Roadmap : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence the product roadmap of ourbroader Checkout team. Yourexpertisewill be vital in aligning thedomain teamswith the evolving needs of merchants, encompassingconsumer experience and product performance.

Consult and Articulate Value : Work closely with commercialization teams to consult on and influence the sales positioning of products. Your ability to articulate clear value propositions for merchants will be instrumental in driving adoption and success.

Partnership Development : Take an active role in developing partnerships to address the needs ofin themarket. By forging strategic alliances, you will contribute to fulfilling the requirements of ourbusiness.

NavigateComplexity : Navigate complexlarge enterprise client requirements, experiences and nuancesrelated tocheckout. By ensuringour solutions meet tailored requirements, you will help PayPalmaintainrobustadoption and performance.

Establish Thought Leadership : Position PayPal as a thought leader in enabling globalinnovationfor large enterprises and marketplaces. Through active engagement, industry insights, and thought leadership initiatives, you will strengthen our reputation in the market.

Strengthen Organizational Systems : Contribute to the improvement and 'hardening' of systems employed by the broader organization. This involves areas such asbranded payment processing and performance,sales motions, and upselling. Yourexpertisewill helpoptimizethese systems and ensure their effectiveness.

Skills, Experience and Education :

To excel in this role, the following skills, experience, and education arerequired :

Payments Industry Expertise : A minimum of8+years of experience in the payments industry, particularly inbranded checkoutexperiences. Your deep understanding of the industry landscape and trends will contribute to your success in this role.

Business-to-Business Sales and Relationship Building : Demonstratedexperience of5+years in business-to-business sales, relationship building, and business development. Your ability to build strong partnerships and drive successful sales outcomes will be essential.

Partner Relationship Development : Proventrack recordinidentifying, developing, and contracting partner relationships within an enterprise context. Your experience in forging strategic partnerships will be instrumental in meeting businessobjectives.

Enterprise Merchant and Marketplace Expertise : Hands-on experience working with the processing and payout needs of enterprise merchants and marketplaces. Yourunderstanding of their unique requirements and challenges will enable you to provide effective solutions.

Leadership skills : Demonstratedsuccess building teams and effectively leading cross-functional organizations.

Effective Communication Skills : Adaptable and eloquent communicator with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at various levels, including product teams, engineering teams, and clients. Your communication skills will be essential in driving collaboration and aligningobjectives.

B2B and Product Software Proficiency : Experience with B2B and product software tools, including but not limited toPowerpoint, Salesforce, Jira, andSharepoint. Yourproficiencyinutilizingthese tools will enhance your productivity and effectiveness in the role.

Preferred Buyer Experience : Previousexperience as a buyer of payment services is preferred. Your firsthand understanding of the buyer's perspective will enable you to empathize with merchants andprovidevaluable insights.
