Highway Design Engineer

Responsibilities :
- Develop detailed roadway and highway designs using Autodesk Civil 3D , including alignments, profiles, corridors, cross-sections, and grading plans.
- Should have experience in Civil 3D, Open Roads, and Auto CAD .
- Lead the development of projects from inception to completion by defining scope, schedule and budget in alignment with client strategic goals.
- Provide ongoing engineering review and evaluation of designs by design consultants for compliance with criteria, standards and specifications on each project.
- Review and monitor design and construction document preparation from concept design through final completion, including review of change-management documents.
- Develop, maintain and report scope, schedule and budget status throughout the project, including review and recommendation of all project invoice.
- Create and maintain, or monitor, comprehensive project documentation.
- Attend and present at public hearings.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.Strong written and verbal communication skills.A minimum of 5 years of civil engineering experience . Desire and ability to manage and mentor staff Strong skills in developing and securing new work.US experience is preferred, and middle east experience is an added advantage.Software : AutoCAD Civil 3D mandatory, Open roads is an advantage , basic Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam, PowerPoint, Outlook skills.Familiarity with applicable standards (AASHTO, FHWA, DOT regulations).Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
