The Brand Manager will play a key role in defining brand strategy, executing campaigns, and driving audience engagement. The incumbent will work closely with internal teams, creative agencies, and external partners to deliver impactful marketing initiatives that strengthen Star Sports' presence and build deeper connections with its audience.
What you will do
- Strategic Roadmap : Define the marketing roadmap for each property by setting objectives across awareness, intent to watch, media reach, and viewership (TVR, reach, frequency, consumption). Drive these outcomes through innovative communication strategies and marketing plans tailored to geographies and consumer cohorts
- Data & Insights : Analyze viewership trends, triggers, and barriers for each property / event using primary and secondary research where applicable. Translate these findings into actionable insights that inform product interventions, media strategies, and communication plans
- Marketing Communications : Develop clear briefs aligned to goals and deliverables. Collaborate with internal and external creative teams, articulating insights, propositions, and campaign directions. Ensure alignment on marketing communication plans across owned, paid, digital, social, and activation channels
- Campaign Development & Execution : Conceptualize and deliver breakthrough campaigns that maximize brand awareness for the sport. Oversee integrated campaign execution, partnering with internal stakeholders (insights, creative, media, social, partnerships, PR) to ensure seamless rollout with detailed cascade plans and on-air schedules
- Project Management : Lead cross-functional project teams (league owners, programming, acquisition, distribution, sales, commercial) to deliver end-to-end marketing plans in a fast-paced environment
- Scheduling Inputs : Provide data-driven recommendations for match scheduling across key properties
- Performance Tracking : Monitor business and marketing metrics against set objectives, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions for in-season and future campaigns
- Budget Management : Track and manage marketing spends, ensuring adherence to budgets and driving cost efficiencies across categories
Skills, Experience & Attributes for Success
