Job descriptionOversee and strengthen financial controls across all departments and project lifecycles. Review books of accounts (Tally or ERP), vendor / client ledgers, and payment cycles. Conduct trend analysis, financial health checks, and ratio-based diagnostics. Support founders in business valuation, investor readiness, and funding analysis. Benchmark competitor financials and prepare reports for expansion decisions. Work with external consultants for audits, compliance, and investor due diligence. Improve and institutionalize SOPs and project-specific financial processes. Introduce automation in reporting using advanced Excel, Power BI, or ERP tools. Ensure all documentation is clean, auditable, and aligned with financial best practices. Set up systems to proactively raise red flags in case of project-level financial bottlenecks, overdue receivables, or vendor delays. Regularly publish MIS summaries and variance reports. Chartered Accountant (CA) strongly preferred. MBA Finance / CFA (Level 2+) also considered. 3–6 years of experience in FP&A, business finance, or financial strategy roles (preferably from a consulting, SaaS, startup, or manufacturing background). Strong command over Excel (advanced), PowerPoint, ERP systems, and modern BI tools (Power BI, Tableau). Prior exposure to valuation models, budgeting processes, and investor decks is a strong plus. Based near Chembur / Govandi / Navi Mumbai or willing to work from our Chembur office full-time. A high-impact seat at the table with founders and business leaders. A 360° view of business operations, supply chain, and government engagements. Direct exposure to high-growth sectors like defense, drone-tech, homeland security, and AI-led solutions. Opportunity to become Finance Head / CFO within 2–3 years based on performance.

About the Role

This role is designed for a high-potential individual on a CFO-track who can bring financial clarity, insight, and discipline to a multi-vertical company operating at the intersection of innovation, government projects, and high-impact technology delivery.
