Job Title : Business Development Manager - Renewable Energy (Testing, Certification & Assurance)
Position Purpose :
- The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving growth in the Renewable Energy segment, including PV Solar, Wind, Hydrogen, Grid Connection, and Battery Storage Systems.
- The role involves identifying large-scale project opportunities, enhancing market visibility, and collaborating with technical and global teams to convert leads into business.
- The incumbent will focus on strategic customers, industry innovators, and trendsetters to build long-term partnerships and deliver value through testing, inspection, certification, and assurance services.
- The target customers will primarily be manufacturers and system integrators whose products and processes require domestic and international quality compliance.
Key Responsibilities :
Identify and develop business opportunities through direct customer engagement and market intelligence.Drive sales growth from both new and existing customers; track and report sales performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.Conduct key account mapping and develop detailed customer profiles.Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic customers and key stakeholders, including government bodies, industry associations, and consultants.Keep abreast of market trends, new technologies, and developments in the renewable energy sector.Expand market reach by tapping into untapped regions and ensuring customer retention.Maintain accurate sales and opportunity data in the CRM system.Collaborate with internal technical teams (including international counterparts) to ensure timely proposal development and delivery of services.Qualifications & Experience :
8-10 years of relevant experience in Renewable Energy, preferably in a business development or sales role.Minimum 3 years of exposure to testing, certification, and / or compliance services related to products and systems.Strong understanding of the market landscape, including key players, regulatory environment, and emerging trends in the renewable energy sector.Bachelor's Degree is required; a Master's Degree in Business Administration or related field is a strong advantage.Key Competencies :
