Api Automation Tester

Job descriptionDesign, develop, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks using Java. Develop and execute API test scripts and automation suites using frameworks such as Cucumber and Karate. Implement and support BDD-based testing practices. Work closely with developers, QA, and DevOps teams to identify test requirements and integrate testing into CI / CD pipelines. Analyze and troubleshoot test failures and provide detailed defect reports. Collaborate in Agile development environments and contribute to continuous quality improvement efforts. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and code quality.
Required Skills :
- 6-8 years of experience in test automation with strong hands-on Java programming skills.
- Proven experience in API automation testing and frameworks.
- Expertise in BDD design patterns (Cucumber, Karate).
- Strong understanding of database concepts and hands-on experience with SQL.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with Jenkins or other CI / CD tools.
- Exposure to cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in Web UI automation tools (e.g., Selenium
