At Heart Health India Foundation (HHIF) , we believe that humanity begins with giving —

not in charity, but in compassion.

We are India’s first organisation founded by heart patients , built on one simple idea :

No one should face heart disease and those who face should not feel alone.

Heart attack is number one killer in India.

More people die from heart attacks, than cancer and road accidents today.

It’s as if every year, we bomb a city the size of Lucknow, India’s 11th largest city, and completely wiping it off the map.

Every family today - has at-least one person (including your extended family) who will go through a heart attack and is already living with risk factors that can cause a heart attack early.

And, we don't act, we will lose a loved one whom we could have saved.

That's why :

Every heartbeat counts.

Every act of kindness matters.

Because, 8 out of 10 deaths are preventable, but are not prevented.

And together, we can create a culture where prevention becomes a habit, not an afterthought.

About Us

Heart Health India Foundation was born out of a personal battle — and a promise.

It was founded by a 33-year-old heart attack survivor and his 29-year-old wife , who decided that no other family should go through such a terrible (yet avoidable) accident and the fear, confusion, and loneliness they once faced.

We built this foundation so that :

Those who can act early never lose a loved one .

Those who survive don’t lose hope .

And those who care can stand together in this fight against India’s biggest killer — heart disease.

This danger doesn’t knock before entering our homes.

It moves silently, affecting one family after another — until we unite and say, not anymore.

Our only purpose is to save lives — to help India build a culture of prevention, compassion, and awareness.

And in this mission, you are our hope.

Because we can’t do this alone.

Today, Heart Health India Foundation is a patient-led movement committed to preventing heart diseases and helping people live healthier, longer, and fuller lives .

We work at the intersection of awareness, community, and compassion — building an ecosystem that supports prevention, recovery, and chronic disease management.

We conduct awareness workshops, health counselling, emergency response (CPR / AED) trainings, community meetups, patient storytelling circles, educational programs, research and advocacy across India — all driven by one emotion :

to give back .

We’re not looking for degrees, designations, or polished resumes.

We’re looking for givers —
