About ProsParity

ProsParity partners with NBFCs to enable financing of electric and commercial vehicle loans. We manage the entire loan lifecycle — from sourcing and underwriting to disbursement, collections, and asset recovery — helping lenders scale efficiently while maintaining portfolio quality.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Financial Operations (6-8 years) to oversee all financial operations linked to loan disbursement, repayment, reconciliation, and asset recovery. The role involves end-to-end ownership of fund movement, reconciliation accuracy, and ensuring transparency and control in vehicle loan operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Fund Management & Cashflow Control

  • Manage daily inflows and outflows related to loan disbursements, repayments, commissions, and recovery proceeds.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly cashflow projections and variance analyses.
  • Coordinate with partner NBFCs, payment gateways, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate fund transfers.

2. Reconciliation & Reporting

  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of disbursement and repayment transactions with bank statements, NBFC MIS, and internal ledgers.
  • Ensure zero mismatch in partner accounts through timely follow-ups and adjustments.
  • Prepare detailed fund flow and reconciliation reports for management and NBFC partners.
  • 3. Repayment Tracking & Accounting

  • Track EMIs, collections, and delinquency inflows across different loan portfolios.
  • Monitor and report on repayment trends, bounce rates, and fund settlements.
  • Coordinate with collections and tech teams to ensure data consistency between systems and bank accounts.
  • 4. Repossession & Resale Fund Management

  • Manage the financial aspect of repossessed vehicle handling — from seizure, storage, and sale proceeds to NBFC remittance.
  • Maintain detailed MIS on repossession costs, recovery value, and profitability.
  • 5. Compliance & Process Improvement

  • Ensure financial operations comply with NBFC and RBI reporting requirements.
  • Support audits and implement internal controls for fund handling.
  • Continuously streamline operational processes through automation and data-driven improvements.
  • Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
  • 6–8 years of experience in financial operations, preferably in NBFCs, fintechs, or vehicle finance.
  • Strong understanding of loan disbursement and repayment processes.
  • Proficiency with Excel, accounting tools (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, or similar), and reconciliation workflows.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working in fast-paced startup environments.
