IAM Engineer – Java Backend & PingFederate

Location : Hyderabad, Noida , Pune ,Bangalore

Experience - 3-9 Years

Job Description : IAM Engineer – Java Backend & PingFederate

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and implement IAM solutions using PingFederate, PingAccess, and related Ping Identity products.
  • Develop and maintain backend services in Java to support authentication and authorization workflows.
  • Integrate applications into SSO frameworks using SAML, OAuth2, and OIDC protocols.
  • Customize PingFederate policies using OGNL expressions and support front-end customizations (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Collaborate with architects, security teams, and application owners to deliver secure identity solutions.
  • Troubleshoot complex authentication and federation issues across environments.
  • Support MFA, passwordless authentication (FIDO2 / WebAuthn), and adaptive access strategies.
  • Maintain and enhance access management platforms and federation infrastructure.
  • Participate in IAM roadmap planning and architectural decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • 3+ years of experience in IAM, with a focus on SSO and federation.
  • Strong hands-on experience with PingFederate, PingAccess, and other Ping Identity tools.
  • Proficiency in Java backend development and scripting (PowerShell, Python).
  • Deep understanding of identity protocols : SAML, OAuth2, OIDC.
  • Experience with LDAP, Active Directory, SCIM.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and tools like Postman.
  • Basic Linux administration and PKI (X.509 certificates).
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
