Technical Consultant - SAP ABAP

Overview

The SAP MDG + ABAP Technical Consultan t plays a crucial role in implementing and customizing SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions and ABAP programming to meet the specific needs of the organization. They are responsible for ensuring the integrity and consistency of master data across various systems and applications, thereby enabling effective data governance and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to understand master data requirements and develop solutions using SAP MDG and ABAP
• Configure and customize SAP MDG applications to support data modeling, validation, and governance processes
• Develop, enhance, and maintain ABAP programs and interfaces to integrate SAP MDG with other SAP modules and external systems
• Lead and support technical design, development, testing, and deployment activities for SAP MDG and related ABAP developments
• Provide expertise in data modeling, data replication, and data quality management within SAP MDG
• Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, propose and implement solutions to optimize the performance of SAP MDG applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP MDG with existing SAP systems
• Participate in the evaluation of new technologies and tools to enhance the capabilities of the SAP MDG platform
• Document technical specifications, solution designs, and implementation processes
• Conduct training and knowledge transfer sessions to enable end-users and support teams
