Job descriptionDesign, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js Build scalable and secure RESTful and / or microservice-based architectures Implement authentication, authorization, validation, and error-handling mechanisms Optimize API performance, database queries, and server-side logic Integrate third-party services and internal systems Write unit tests, logging, and monitoring for backend services Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver production-ready features 2–4 years of hands-on experience in backend development using Node.js Strong experience with Express.js / Good to have FastAPI / Flask Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) Hands-on experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL Good to have Experience using ORM / ODM tools such as Sequelize, Prisma, TypeORM, or Mongoose Familiarity with Git and version control workflows Exposure to Docker and cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure) is a plus Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills

What We Are Looking For
- Strong hands-on experience in pure backend development using Node.js
- Expertise in building scalable RESTful APIs using Express.js / FastAPI / Flask.
- Solid understanding of backend architecture, asynchronous programming, and event-driven systems
- Strong experience in database design and optimization using MongoDB and PostgreSQL / SQL databases
- Hands-on experience with authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, role-based access)
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-structured backend code
- Experience handling high-volume data, background jobs, and API performance optimization
