About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution-Based Proposal Writer who can collaborate with Sales, Pre-Sales, and Technical Teams to develop persuasive, client-centric proposals. The ideal candidate should have strong writing skills, an ability to understand complex IT / Business solutions, and experience in responding to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and SOWs .

Key Responsibilities

Work with Sales, Solution Architects, and SMEs to analyze client requirements and craft customized solution-oriented proposals.

Develop high-quality, client-tailored responses for RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, SOWs, and capability statements.

Translate technical solutions into clear, value-driven business language .

Structure proposals to highlight value proposition, differentiators, and ROI .

Maintain and update a proposal content repository for faster turnaround.

Ensure proposals are compliant, compelling, and deadline-driven .

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Delivery, Operations, Finance) for inputs on pricing, solution feasibility, and timelines.

Create executive summaries, case studies, and success stories to strengthen proposals.

Adhere to branding guidelines, style consistency, and quality standards .

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field .

3–7 years of experience in proposal writing, bid management, or presales documentation .

Strong knowledge of IT services, Cloud, Data, AI / ML, and Digital Transformation solutions .

Excellent written communication, storytelling, and structuring skills .

Ability to simplify technical content into client-focused messaging.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) ; familiarity with proposal automation tools is a plus.

Strong organizational skills with ability to manage tight deadlines .

Detail-oriented with a knack for quality, accuracy, and compliance .

Good to Have

APMP Certification or similar in Proposal Management .

Experience in US / Global IT Services market .

Understanding of Govt. / Enterprise RFP process .
