About the Role :
We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic professional to join as Chief of Staff to the JMD . This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving strategic initiatives, managing cross-functional priorities, and acting as an advisor, enabler, and extension of the JMD’s office. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of analytical rigor, business acumen, and execution capability.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Support :
- Act as a strategic advisor and thought partner to the JMD in business planning, decision-making, and execution.
- Lead special projects and key strategic initiatives on behalf of the JMD, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Prepare strategic briefs, presentations, reports, and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
Operational Excellence :
Monitor and follow up on key action items, deliverables, and project timelines across departments.Serve as a bridge between the JMD and senior leadership, enabling smooth communication and coordination.Drive operational efficiency by identifying and resolving bottlenecks in workflows and decision processes.Stakeholder Management :
Represent the JMD in key meetings, as required, ensuring effective communication and alignment.Manage critical stakeholder relationships, both internal and external, on behalf of the JMD.Coordinate with business heads, department leads, and external partners to ensure timely updates and progress reports.Administrative Oversight :
Manage the day-to-day functioning of the JMD office.Maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information and documentation.Support calendar management, travel coordination, and high-level meetings as needed.Qualifications & Experience :
8–10 years of experience in a fast-paced corporate environment, preferably in a Chief of Staff, Strategy, Consulting, or Executive Office role.MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree from a reputed institution is preferred.Experience working directly with CXOs or senior leadership teams is a strong advantage.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and complex projects simultaneously.Skills & Competencies :
