Production Support Manager

Job Title : Lead – IT Operations / Support (Night Shift Lead-in Rotation)

Location : Andheri, Mumbai

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or in related field.

Experience :

6+ year of experience in handling financial critical system operation for Exchange, Clearing Corporation or banking industry

Preferred Domains :

Stock or Commodity Exchange / Broking Firms, IT enabled services / Banking / Financial / etc

Responsibilities :

• Manage and oversee production systems during night shifts, ensuring smooth operations and prompt response to incidents.
• Execute End-of-Day (EOD) and Beginning-of-Day (BOD) job processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Coordinate DC and DR failover activities, ensuring the availability and reliability of critical systems.
• System patching activities, ensuring that all systems are up-to-date with the latest security and functionality updates.
• Collaborate with different teams, including development, infrastructure, and support teams and business team, to address and resolve production issues efficiently.
• Prepare and share comprehensive periodic status reports detailing the performance, incidents, and improvements made during the week.
• Manage and administer Linux-based systems, ensuring optimal performance, security and availability.
• Evaluation and performance optimisation of the system.
• Collaboration with Software vendor and OEMs
