Position Summary :
The Psychologist will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality psychological services and advancing mental health programs within the organization. This role involves conducting psychological assessments, providing therapy, supervising junior psychologists, and contributing to research and program development. The ideal candidate will have extensive clinical experience, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to ethical practice.
Key Responsibilities :
Clinical Services : Provide individual and group therapy, psychological assessments, and interventions for a diverse clientele.Supervision & Training : Supervise and mentor junior psychologists, interns, and other mental health professionals, ensuring adherence to best practices and ethical standards.Program Development : Design and implement mental health programs that align with the organization's mission and address the needs of the community.Research & Evaluation : Lead or contribute to research projects, program evaluations, and the development of evidence-based practices.Client Engagement : Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring that services are client-centered and effective.Collaboration : Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and educators, to provide comprehensive mental health care.Crisis Intervention : Provide crisis intervention and support, including risk assessment and management.Ethical Practice : Uphold the highest ethical standards in clinical practice, including maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to relevant professional guidelines.Requirements :
Education : Master’s / Doctoral degree in Psychology (Clinical or Neuropsychological)Experience : A minimum of 2+ years of clinical experience, including experience with psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.Licensure : Must be a RCI licensed psychologist or eligible for licensure in the relevant jurisdiction.Technical Skills : Proficiency in administering and interpreting a wide range of psychological assessments and familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches.Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex psychological concepts clearly and effectively.Leadership : Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in supervising and training other professionals.Ethical Standards : A strong commitment to ethical practice and professional integrity.Preferred Qualifications :
Research Experience : Experience in conducting psychological research, with a history of publications in peer-reviewed journals.Specialized Training : Additional certifications or specialized training in areas such as trauma, addiction, or neuropsychology.Community Involvement : Experience in community outreach, public speaking, or advocacy within the mental health field.
