Job description

JOB TITLE : Service Engineer – Press (Ceramic Machine)

LOCATION : Morbi, Gujarat

REPORTING TO : Manager – TA – Morbi

JOB ROLE : The Service Engineer – Press (Ceramic Machine) will be responsible for the installation, development, troubleshooting, commissioning and testing of ceramic press systems and components for ceramic machinery, including solutions for continuous presses.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY :

Troubleshooting & Problem Solving : Act as the primary point of contact for all press related issues in ceramic machinery. Address and resolve problems efficiently and effectively.

Project Management : Work on assembly, fitting, testing, cabling, hydraulic work, Electrical and commissioning of new machinery. Ensure timely and high-quality execution of projects for Press machines.

Reports and Documentation : Installation reports, machine testing, startup & production reports, training report, assembly visit report and final reports.

Collaboration & Teamwork : Conduct regular meetings to monitor the progress of ongoing projects, share ideas and foster a culture of knowledge-sharing within the team. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the best solutions are implemented.

Customer Relations : Serve as the primary point of contact for customer-related technical issues or maintenance. Coordinate with customers to understand their needs, provide support and ensure satisfaction.

AGE : above 28 Years

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : Essential : Bachelor’s degree (B.E. / B.Tech). Desirable : BE / Diploma in Engineering relevant

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

ESSENTIAL :

  • 5 years and above proven experience in press within industrial machinery, ideally in ceramic manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Proficiency in decision-making, particularly in high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate with teams and clients.

DESIRABLE :

  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • A proactive approach to continuous improvement and innovation within the press-engineering field.
