General Accountant

Job Advert — General Accountant (India)

We are hiring a General Accountant in India (New Delhi).

This role is ideal for a hands-on finance professional ready to take ownership of day-to-day accounting, reporting, and compliance for the India entity.

You will manage the full accounting cycle, support month-end close, ensure accurate financial reporting, and act as the primary financial contact for the India office while coordinating closely with HQ.

Requirements

We are looking for applicants who meet most of the following :

3+ years of hands-on accounting experience , ideally within tech, start-ups, or multi-entity operations.

Strong knowledge of GAAP or IFRS , plus experience in reconciliations, reporting, and budgeting.

• Proficiency with accounting systems;

Odoo ERP experience is a plus.

Strong Excel / Google Sheets capability and basic IT troubleshooting.

Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and ability to independently run month-end processes.
