About the Role : -

As the Director – Innovations and Entrepreneurship , you’ll lead the creation of a thriving innovation ecosystem at Brainware University.

You will :

Establish and head the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Cell (IIC) in sync with MoE’s Innovation Cell (MIC) and Atal Innovation Mission (AIM).

Drive startup incubation and accelerator programs in emerging fields like AI, HealthTech, AgriTech, FinTech, and Sustainability.

Champion research commercialisation , patenting , and industry partnerships .

Inspire students and faculty to convert creative ideas into market-ready solutions and social ventures.

What You’ll Build : -

Innovation Labs & Startup Hubs across multidisciplinary domains.

A vibrant pre-incubation-to-growth pipeline for student and faculty entrepreneurs.

IPR & Research Commercialisation Cell to promote patents and spin-offs.

Strategic partnerships with government agencies, venture networks, and corporates.

An annual Innovation & Startup Summit to showcase Brainware’s brightest minds.

Qualification and Skills : -

Master's degree or Ph.D. in Engineering, Entrepreneurship or Innovation Studies, Management or similar domain.

Minimum 10-15 years of experience with at least 5-7 years in leadership position of innovation and entrepreneural management.

Proven record of securing grants / funding , managing startups or leading innovation ecosystems.

Strong industry, startup and investor network, excellent communication and mentoring ability.

Knowledge of NEP-2020 and national innovation frameworks is essential.
