  • Design, Implement, and Support LAN, WAN, Wireless, Security, and core data center switching solutions that meet company’s networking requirements.
  • Extensive working knowledge with TCP / IPv4 & v6, TCP 3 Way Handshake , SD-WAN, DMVPN, IoT, Cloud connectivity –preferred AWS-, and Overlay / underlay network setup.
  • Experience configuring and deploying layer 2 and layer 3 Ethernet enterprise switching equipment to support VoIP / QoS and other advanced network applications.
  • Experience with Cisco VTP, VLAN, Trunk, STP, Ether channel, BPDU, TDR, SPT, ACL Type & Ranges, VSS, Cable Issue, High CPU / Memory troubleshooting, MST, and other Cisco switching features.
  • Demonstrated experience with debug\trace option commands and their impact on the production environment
  • Strong familiarity with SNMP, Netflow, Syslog and packet captures
  • Extensive working knowledge on Cisco ISE (Identity Service Engine).
  • Strong knowledge in static routing & routing protocols including EIGRP, OSPF & BGP.
  • Expert understanding of firewall configuration and maintenance.
  • Experience with Cisco ASA equipment preferred.
  • Strong experience with IPSEC, GRE, Site-to-Site VPN, and Remote access.
  • Understanding of 802.11 wireless and other mobile technologies.
  • Update and maintain documentation of company networks and systems. Preferred proficiency with Visio.
  • Ability to work with other departments within IT projects and driving solutions.
  • Ability to work with equipment vendors, service providers and 3rd party companies to deliver a complete solution for our customers.
  • Cisco Firepower expertise a big plus.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting resources such as Wireshark, Solar winds, Cisco Prime (Wireless devices) and Netflow

Required Skills

  • CCNA Required
  • CCNP Required
  • CCIE STRONGLY Preferred but not necessary
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service
  • Passion for network technology and service mindset is necessary.
  • Ability to work in a positive team environment
  • Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
  • Experience with AWS cloud networking.
  • Experience with Cisco Meraki Cloud
  • Cisco Firepower expertise a big plus.
  • Scripting languages skills big plus.
  • Cisco UCS.
