Role Description

We’re Hiring : “ Senior Python Developer ”

We are looking for a Senior Pro who has worked deeply in Python development and hands-on with Data Engineer activities with strong experience in Python, Dataiku, and AWS to support data processing, automation, and analytics pipeline development for commercial pharmaceutical datasets. The candidate must be able to translate business requirements into structured technical steps, build efficient and reliable data workflows, and collaborate effectively with analytics and business teams.

Location

The successful candidate shall be placed at any of our Client's location in Pune. It is a WFO, “No” remote work. Engineers willing to work as a Senior Developer in Python may apply. Candidates who can join on 3 months “Contract to Hire” basis shall be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain data processes and automation workflows
Build and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and processing scripts for large-scale commercial datasets
Deploy and manage workflows within AWS environments (S3, Lambda, Redshift, etc.)
Translate business requirements into clear, executable technical steps and deliver production-ready processes
Support integration with external systems (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, QlikView)
Implement data quality checks, error handling, and performance optimization across workflows
Collaborate with business analysts and data scientists to ensure alignment between business needs and data delivery
Document processes and maintain structured repositories of scripts, jobs, and workflow logic

Required Skills and Qualifications :

4–6 years of experience in data engineering or analytics automation roles

Proficient in Python coding and good exposure to Python usage for data processing and automation (Pandas, NumPy, Boto3, etc.)

Strong experience with Dataiku (Flow design, recipes, plugins, scenarios, and API integrations)

Working knowledge of AWS services such as S3, Redshift, and Lambda

Experience in developing modular, maintainable, and business-grade processes

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Good Communication skills in English - able to understand business context and translate it into actionable steps.
